Donkey Kong SMASHES Expections With New Reviews

The review embargo for Nintendo’s latest title Donkey Kong Bananza has been lifted, and fans of the barrel throwing ape can rest easy that this 3D entry into the series, is barrels of fun.

IGN opened the floodgates with their review. Reviewer Logan Plant described the new title as “one of the best 3D platformers I’ve ever played.", mentioning the destructible environment and “endless possibilities” this opens up for both combat and traversal. What is even more shocking, is that Donkey Kong Bananza joins 42 other games in IGN’s review catalogue that recieved a whopping 10/10, with DK joining the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Elden Ring, and The Last of Us: Part II. Outside of IGN however, the consensus remains the same! Review aggregate site Metaritic has Donkey Kong Bananza sitting at a earth-shattering 90/100, with review correlated from eighty three reveiwers and sites. It seems Director’s Kazuya Takahashi and Wataru Tanaka, as well as Producer Kenta Motokura, have managed to lead a talanted team, and dug deep to unearth a truly special adventure, one which Nintendo has been widley kown for since Breath of The Wild in 2017.
