Taken By The Storm: Fortnite Down For Indefinite Period

For those who wished for some early week Victory Royales, I am afraid that those wins will have to wait for another day, as early this Tuesday morning, Fortnite’s servers were taken offline.

This offline activation has come asx a suprise to many fans of the game, with no prior details given for why this may have occured. In response to this, @Fortnitestatus on X (Twitter) stated:

‘Hey everyone, we're extending downtime while we work to resolve an issue discovered during offline checks, we'll do our best to get Fortnite servers online ASAP.’

No comment on what this isue is nor how long this down period will last has been stated by developer’s Epic Games. With Season 4 of Chater 6 looming, with its supposed relase occuring after a scheduled downtime on August 8th, 2025, we can only hope these battle bus repairs are quick to fix, and not the opposite.
